It's question time today here on GOL, so sit down and come have a chat. Today I ask a very simple question: what game would literally blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?
I've asked myself this very same question and while it looks like a simple question, the truth is that it's actually quite difficult to narrow it down.
There's a fair amount of great games we don't have and that's probably a heavy understatement. There's a good 10-20 games I badly want on Linux and narrowing them down was a bit of a task.
I think my all time wish right now would be: Fallout New Vegas.
A game I actually own, as it's one of the left-overs from back when I was dual-booting. I can't bring myself to load up Windows to play it. My Windows hard drive doesn't even fit in my PC case, so it becomes a nuisance to actually load Windows any way now.
Why Fallout New Vegas? I've been a Fallout fan since a young age and I think I've actually played all of them now. I love the world, the style of it and the gameplay is engrossing as hell. It was my favourite of the series by far.
What's yours and why?

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: psychodriver14 pages in and only 4 people have mentioned Half Life 3. Having that released as a linux exclusive for a week or two would be about the only thing that would blow my mind.
I think the Witcher 3 would be the most important port of an existing title.
I personally am sad that there are no ports for Path of Exile and Guild Wars 2.
Because I have lost all hope HL3 will ever come. I have been waiting for far to long. But seeing it as a timed linux exclusive title would be abosultely mind blowing.

Take a shot every time someone lists more than one game, you'll die instantly.
Also, so many people choosing Fallout 4, that is why LGBTQ people don't feel welcome in video gaming. I'm am disappointed and ashamed that such a homophobic game gets such a warm reception.

While Witcher 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, could be on my list just because it seemed like they had some plans to support us...
Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord would be a true, kinda big deal

Overwatch! It would also be nice to see a native port of Paladins end up on Steam, but I own a physical copy of OW, so..
Edit: I noticed that someone also mentioned Roblox. I'd rather see an open source/libre reimplementation of Roblox's engine from 2007/2008, maybe even 2006. The game has gone downhill a lot in the last 2 years, the devs have stated (for years, actually) how easy it would be to port the game over to Linux (but they don't), and the community is really toxic nowadays.

Quoting: TheSyldatAny of the Ubisoft game really. I feel (stress on this word here) that if at some given point in time Linux get enough momentum that it cannot be ignored anymore , Ubisoft will be the last one to take the plunge.ubisoft ported growhome
All of the other big players are wether you like it or not keeping an eye on what's going on if only for the sake of knowing where the wind blows.
But Ubisoft seems to me that even that surface level of checking out every once in a while is not even there at all .
So yeah it would blow my mind to be proven wrong byy Ubisoft and seeing one of their big release poping up on Linux as well...
