Avenger Bird [Steam], a pretty nice looking retro inspired side-scroller is now available on Steam with Linux support.
Avenger Bird was created as a tribute to PC DOS and Amiga shareware games from the '90s. It looks pretty good and certainly appeals to the more casual gamer hiding inside of me.
Mobile games like Flappy Bird have probably also helped inspire the developers a bit too by the looks of it.
Features
- Explore Four Different Worlds
- Open World Map
- 32 Unique Levels
- Hidden Treasure In Every Level
- Easter Eggs and Unexpected Cameos
- Epic Boss Fight At the End!
If anyone tries it, be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!
