Were you alarmed that Feral Interactive didn't have any new Linux ports listed on their radar? Worry no more, as a new UFO (Unidentified Feral Object) has appeared over Linux.
Here's the new teaser from the radar:
For those that can't read it, it says "FORT DU KREMLIN-BICETRE". The picture is of Maggie Simpson from the opening credits of, you guessed it, The Simpsons.
Just be aware this doesn't mean it's coming soon, it could be many months away, but it's still exciting to think about!
Does anyone have a clue? Go on, open up in the comments.

QuoteLe Kremlin-Bicêtre is most famous as the location of the Bicêtre Hospital, where Superintendent Philippe Pinel is credited as being the first to introduce humane methods into the treatment of the mentally ill, in 1793. Its most notorious guest was the Marquis de Sade.That and the picture... Sounds intriguing.

Kremlin? Is it Homefront?

Springfield is a rifle, primarily used by snipers, and the mentioned Fort is in/around a Paris suburb.
So I'm going with Hitman.

First step; look up Fort de Bicêtre on Wikipedia:
Second; look up Maggie Simpson. Someone on the internet figured out how much Maggie scans for, for instance;
Third; Try to figure out where your life went wrong and acknowledge you have no clue about the meaning of Feral's teaser.
QuoteThe Fort de Bicêtre is a military structure built between 1841 and 1845 during the reign of Louis-Philippe during a time of tension between France and England, in the Paris suburb of Kremlin-Bicêtre. The fort is part of the Thiers Wall fortifications of Paris, built under a program of defensive works initiated by Adolphe Thiers. The fort served as a prison for those involved in the French coup of 1851.
Second; look up Maggie Simpson. Someone on the internet figured out how much Maggie scans for, for instance;
QuoteFrom Season 20 Episode 10 to Present, prior to Maggie being scanned the register reads $243.26.
After she's scanned, it doubles to $486.52 therefore, logically Maggie costs $243.26.
Third; Try to figure out where your life went wrong and acknowledge you have no clue about the meaning of Feral's teaser.

I'd instinctively say Hitman as well, there is a mission in Paris and it's being worked on by Feral if I'm reading SteamDB right.
EDIT : There's just been a massive update to a Mac and Linux branch called "cheetah_ioi". Maybe it'll come out on the Jan 31 to coincide with the physical release of Season 1?

I really hope for Hitman! However intriguingly there's no mac symbol up but Hitman also has a depo for mac on SteamDB.
My bet is on: Deus_Ex: Human_Revolution
It's already on Mac and has a Rifleman Bank Station location.
(Taking the hint from Mblackwell)

The Fort de Bicêtre is near the DONTNOD Entertainment studio.
I hope for Vampyr.
That or some other game from Focus Home Interactive.

I'd say it's Hitman.
There's a fort in the new game and there's an "x" in the image.

Call of Cthulhu or... Wolfenstein: The New Order... two wild guesses.
Hitman might be a safer guess though.

Yeah it's Hitman releasing on the 31st of Jan sounds like. Just keep in mind the always-online DRM that this game has or will probably have. If they don't remove it now or eventually I definitely won't be supporting this one sadly.
I'm not alone. I was wondering why Feral (and others) don't release a DRM-Free Build, i would like to buy many games from them.
(Maybe i missed it)
