Here's the new teaser from the radar:
For those that can't read it, it says "FORT DU KREMLIN-BICETRE". The picture is of Maggie Simpson from the opening credits of, you guessed it, The Simpsons.
Just be aware this doesn't mean it's coming soon, it could be many months away, but it's still exciting to think about!

Yes and if we had that Vulkan version on PC Windows it would be a literal game changer. Refer to DOOM on how well it works via Vulkan on wine.

It means Vulkan is using by big studios and Bethesda has a version with Vulkan already.Just Feral or Aspyr needed to publish it with Linux support.

Vulkan has been designed to make "ports" between platforms a real piece of kake.
If one version of a game have native support to Vulkan and native support to any UnixLike OS like OrbisOS(PS4), MacOS, iOS, Android, ShitchOS (whatever his name is), etc...
It supposed to compile and run WITHOUT BUGS in cuestion of minutes. maybe not with the best perform although
Today, i think skyrim for Linux (Vulkan version), have not technical problems to be a real thing. the only real problem is absolutely "commercial thing"

I wonder if it's "commercial thing" though. It looks like some ideology rather than business. Just think of DOOM: from what we can read, the game was developed with portability in mind, a perfect candidate for a Linux port, probably with little work. And yet no Linux port. If Bethesda doesn't want to port it themselves, there are a few companies that can do it for them.

Well if you port to Linux using Vulkan then porting to the Switch will be a walk in the park, but the other way around is not completely true. Console gaming is very different than PC gaming, you only have one device to target and no video options, that make it easier. But still porting from the Switch to Linux is definitely going to be easier than porting a DirectX version of the game.

I think Witcher3 is highly unlikely.They announced that they're done with Witcher3 and get fully focused on Cyberpunk 2077.They're also abandoned Linux GOG client project.Which is why i buy my Linux games from Steam only.There are some people who said 'I buy my Linux games from GOG because it's drm free.'Well,they completely abandon and dislike Linux community.Why should i buy from them,instead of Valve?
About Skyrim.I'm way more hopeful about it.Because Skyrim is heading for Nintendo Switch,which use Vulkan.Of course Bethesda won't publish it directly,because in that case they must provide support for Linux version too.Bethesda won't desire that,they're already so slow at Windows support side already.But Feral or Aspyr can simply buy license for it and make it happen on Linux.[/quote]
I am not so sure about that Bethesda seem to have a fuck you approach to linux, they went out of there way to sabotage the Doom Client to remove DX9/open gl code that enabled the beta to run in wine. I really can't see Bethesda approaching Feral or Asypr. If they managed to convince them they would all the leg work then maybe I would buy it again in a heart beat to support whichever linux publisher managed it.
