FortressCraft Evolved [Steam] is a game I often overlook, but perhaps not for much longer. It has a truly massive update with a much better tutorial and a very slick new look for the surface of worlds.

Take a look at how shiny it is now:

I've taken another look rather briefly as it's late here (nearly midnight) and I do agree that the graphics of the world have improved tremendously!

Take a look at a picture I took:

Wow, shame about the UI though, as it's extremely ugly. That's the main sore spot for the game right now. You really need to look past the incredibly in your face and ugly UI to actually enjoy it.

I have been watching some of the dev streams, I think the UI is being improved soon, cant remember the exact order but I think adventure pack and improved UI were both coming over the next couple of months. The developer is very active on discord and often streaming development.

This update also vastly improved the tutorial.

Wow, yes, great improvements there. The game itself is quite compelling, sometimes more so than Meincraft!

is the detailed update note.
1260h on record, takes 20h to get into it, and now maybe a lot less (due to updated tutorial).
Plays perfect/good enough with a steam controller if you use my bindings.
