Lost Eden [GOG], a classic from 1995 has been released on GOG and it has Linux support right away thanks to DOSBox.
My GOG contacts sent over a copy, and I'm pleased to say it works perfectly. Thanks to GOG bundling DOSBox with old games all you need to do is install and run it.
Anyone remember this one? Will you grab a copy to support GOG and their continuing rescue of classic games?
About the game
Lost Eden, an alternative prehistoric past where man and dinosaur co-exist.
You must travel four continents and meet more than twelve different species of dinosaurs, each with its own distinct personality. It is your goal to restore the peace that once allowed man and beast to live harmoniously. To accomplish this goal, you will need to find the secret to traveling the lands of Eden, engaging the help of the dinosaurs and rebuilding lost citadels.

I just bought it after read this news :D. A nice classic, very innovative when released and with a great soundtrack.

I wish GOG would Relase Wing Commander 1/2/3/4 in Dosbox for Linux. It's annoying having to replace the windows dosbox binaries with my own.

I remember this one and I remember being interested, but I don't think I ever played it. Thanks to GOG I just might.

For me this game is all about the way musics is played through each places. Séphane Picq has done amazing work on this game, and also on earlier title Dune (1992). Adlib version is gold :p

As much as we'd like to do that, unfortunately, it's easier said than done...
