I recently pointed out that Marek sent in patches to the Mesa list which could improve Deus Ex: Mankind Divided [Steam] performance on RadeonSI around 70%, well all of the patches are now in Mesa git.

Note: As this is for RadeonSI, these patches only improve it for the open source AMD driver.

As a reminder, you can see the initial message to the Mesa list here.

It was 12 patches in total and all of them were reviewed and accepted into Mesa. You can follow the Mesa git log quite easily here.

This means the next stable release of Mesa will have them included, or you could go ahead and try to compile Mesa yourself.

Looks like the next stable Mesa release is already exciting for AMD GPU owners that use the RadeonSI driver.

It's possible these performance improvements may help other games, but it was tested against Deus Ex: Mankind Divided specifically. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
