The developers of Puzzle Puppers [Steam, Official Site] have stated that a Linux version will be bumped up the list if there is real interest.

It was pointed out by Cheeseness on Twitter and the developers have pinned the Steam forum topic asking about it, so it seems they are pretty serious about seeing interest.

You can let them know if you would buy it on this forum topic. It should go without saying, but if you wouldn't buy it, don't comment on it. Having tons of people saying they will and not doing it does not look good. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

One word for you guys.

Don't give any promises or hype to dev if you're not interested at all.

I'd definitely buy this if it was available for Linux. Looks right up my alley, and so damn cute.

Damn! The dev posted an update with the first Linux build a few hours after I posted saying I'd buy it! A lot of people came before me of course, but still, that's service! :D I'm testing it now!

Seems to work flawlessly for me! I tried it in both windowed mode and fullscreen on my single-monitor setup, running Xubuntu 16.04. The 5 minutes I first played it ran without a hitch! I like it! The puzzles are fun little distractions with a clever gimmick, and I find the simple graphics and animations to be really cute! It's obviously a small budget title without much flash in the presentation, but it doesn't feel like a rushed or sloppy game either. I don't expect to get a lot of time out of it, but the price is definitely right (on sale for $4 USD), and I'm having fun so far! And... come on! I have to give a ton of credit for the quick and competent port job! I mean damn that's fast! :D

One gripe: I feel like I aught to be able to select a dog and at least move it to the end of a row of squares without have to click on each one. I guess doing too much auto-navigating like that would over-simplify some of the early levels, but it still bugs me a bit. But the port performance is still perfect!
