You're stuck in the middle of the ocean, with nothing but a hook and a tiny raft. To survive you need to catch any drifting items you can find and build up a bigger raft.
It obviously needs a lot of work, but the whole idea behind it is actually something I would truly love to see expanded further. It needs a little explanation of what to do, but it’s reasonably easy to get to grips with it.
I was just minding my own business trying to survive and out of nowhere a shark came along and ripped up part of my raft, what a git! I need a weapon to get rid of that pesky thing.
Give it a go and tell us what you think to it, as it’s a prototype it’s free to try right now. If you use the itch.io app you can keep it up to date too.

A perfect candidate for a room experience in VR... At least until the raft becomes big enough.

How much stuff can there really be to do on a bleedin' raft in the middle of the ocean?

Looks like the big thing missing from this game is buoyancy and balance. Which seems kind if vital to me.

yeah, idea is interesting, but as said its a prototype. theres so little audio-visual feedback in the game.
but i can see it being awesome with multiplayer, more content, more work on sounds and animations and so on.

And for how long ? a simple storm and it's the end.

Looks like a primitve form of that Stranded Deep game on steam (only Win and Mac - ugh)
Oh well , might make for a few laughs.
Think to milk the most of it they'd have to go the roguelike route and add a lot of variety with quick sessions/deaths. As Armand put it :

The dev has a small questionnaire on the site asking what people would like to see most. Small islands is one thing, multiplayer is another. If both were added I could see some nice potential for the game.
Snorkelling and spear fishing would be pretty cool as well. I'm not a multiplayer person, but I'm definitely not against it as an option.
Personally, I really dig the restricted environment. You've got a raft and its immediate surroundings and a whole lot of flotsam to improve your raft with, and that's really it. Finding things to do within those limitations calls for creativity on the developer's part and if they step up to the plate you can really end up with a gem. I'm eager to see where this is headed.
