Update: It seems all the replies this article caused on the Steam forum topic got us a new and exciting reply:
Well, Rise & Shine [Steam, Official Site] has certainly hooked me in with its rather awesome visuals and slick looking action! The developers have said they are investigating and testing Linux support.
The trailer honestly makes the game look quite incredible and the level art is amazing.
In a simple message posted on their Steam forum a few days ago the developers said this:
Feel free to let them know in that Steam post if you would buy a copy if it released for Linux. Remember though, just saying "+1" is considered spam by Steam's own community rules.
About the game
Rise & Shine is a true "think and gun" that combines elements of arcade shooters, bullet hells, and puzzle platformers to create a new blend of strategy and viscera. Switch between Shine's add-ons to solve puzzles that redefine what bullets can do. Guide projectiles through intricate mazes, electrify damaged equipment to discover new pathways, and juggle 8-bit fruit because why not?
