The new official name 'Rise to Ruins' [Steam] along with a big update to my favourite little village builder is now live.

"InDev 24 The Upgrade Update" is now live and it brings, as the title might suggest plenty of building upgrades for your villages. This makes the progression of your village feeling a little more worthwhile, as you upgrade them in stages.

Wind, rain and snow now bring down your workers speed by 20%, which is a bit of a nuisance, but it's an interesting gameplay mechanic to put in.

The game has also been optimized and should run a lot smoother. There's plenty more, so be sure to read the full changelog here.

I absolutely love this game and it's totally in the top 10 for me. I am keen to see where the development goes now most of the building upgrades are in place. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
