Valve developer Pierre-Loup Griffais has tweeted out asking for information on Linux games that don't currently work with radeonsi.
Is anyone maintaining a list of Linux games that don't work on radeonsi? GL compatibility context, extensions Mesa won't implement, etc.

I'm sure a few of you have a list of games you know don't work, so why not let them know. They might be able to help Mesa get the games running.
Valve actually hired Samuel Pitoiset, a Mesa developer to work on radeonsi (source):
Samuel PitoisetThis is my last contribution for the Nouveau driver for a while because I have been hired by Valve to work on radeonsi. Do not expect such perf improvements with radeonsi because it already performs really well, unlike Nouveau. But with time and patience we can do better. :-)
So it's quite likely this list will make its way to Samuel to work through.
If anyone wants to keep a public list, I have setup a Wiki page for it.

Above all I feel that AMD is preferable since you can run FOSS drivers. With NVIDIA, the foss driver will (it seems) always be pretty crap.
For sure. Maintenance free, kernel-integrated solution. It becomes a no-brainer for Valve.

I'm not there yet because of bad AMD choices I made in the past, but I'm looking toward a Ryzen + Vega combo with a lot of hype. If the promises are met by AMD and it's looking good, it's only a matter of time before I make the jump, for sure.

I can confirm that Worms W.M.D doesn't work with RadeonSI too.

So Valve is working both on the amdgpu kernel driver as well on userspace Mesa? Something tells me there is more going on than Valve just wanting to help AMD. Are they working on some piece of hardware?
I've said before that it would be amazing for Valve/AMD to team-up and create the gold standard steambox. The upcoming Zen+Polaris/Vega based APU's coming out later this year would be an excellent target. Obviously both SteamOS and AMDGPU / RadeonSI need to mature a bit but I think a product like that released around the right hardware could do wonders for SteamOS and Linux Gaming.
Essentially "Look this is what you can get when things are done right".

Looks like the wiki list was noticed: https://twitter.com/Plagman2/status/822669038438338562

For me ARK doesn't work with Mesa (last tried 13.2 with AMD RX 480), doesn't even start. Same for Portal 2 which is already on the list. Linux Mint 18.1.
