I think it looks fantastic! Love the visual work, especially when it's dark and they find stuff that glows. Could be an awesome game to get lost in and just explore away.

On the Steam forum the developer recently said this:
QuoteTo update, we're considering supporting Diluvion in the main Linux branches, but not all of them. No estimated date for that yet.

If you would actually buy it, be sure to give your support in that forum topic. No sense in doing so if you won't buy it, as that does more harm than good.

About the game
Explore the dangers of the depths in this beautifully realized flooded world, and unearth untold riches and glory. Discover the remnants of civilization in numerous unique towns and learn their local lore, trade stories and treasure, and hire crew new members.

Discover numerous types of cannons and torpedoes to help you overcome the dangers of the deep, and assemble your own unique crew to brave it alongside you. Whether you wish to play as a silent hunter or a guns blazing dreadnought, arrange your crew members and weapons to fit your playstyle. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Because of Ubuntu being outdated most of the time, I kind of wish devs would target fedora stable releases as well / in replacement of.

What does this mean?

Luke_Nukem: Only rarely you want to support the most cutting-edge options and not anything else.

Ah, yes, I remember asking during their kickstarter about Linux support. They were honest about being a small studio and not having resources during that time for proper testing but it was something they would look into down the line. They mentioned how hopefully newer versions of Unity might make the porting easier for them since they had lots of issues with their previous game, Ballpoint Universe. It'd be nice to have this on Linux, since the game looks pretty neat.

That really reminds me of an old game called Sub Culture.

I would buy it. It seems right up my alley.

edit: and I remember Sub Culture! I loved that game.

That trailer looks cool, but it gives me absolutely no idea about what the gameplay will be like.

Hey Liam: GOG has also a release of this game. Do you know if there is a version planned?
Shmerl Feb 14, 2017
Reminds me of Aquanox, and I saw it was released on GOG. Good to know, that Linux version is possible.

What does "main Linux branches" mean by the way? May be they wanted to say, they'll support common distros?
