Timothee Besset sent word that Rocket League [Steam] has now been updated to fix some issues Mesa users were having with radeonsi.

You can see the original bug report here.

TTimo was speaking about it in our IRC and it has now released going by this tweet. It was an issue in the game, so a Mesa update isn't needed.

This should give AMD gamers a much better experience on Linux, as you shouldn't get big stuttering or hangs especially at the start of a game. This issue affected quite a number of people, especially when we play with community during our livestreams so it's pleasing to see it finally fixed.

To celebrate, I will likely include it in my livestream tonight and play with the community. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quoting: operaI wonder if the Linux version is still considered to be in beta? They never put a word on that again after the initial release.
They do not support anything other than SteamOS and if you try to report a bug that is what they will say. They found a way to take money from Linux community without having to do support. I imagine these issues exist on SteamOS too (if every other distro has them) so I don't think they will ever fix them. Maybe Timothee or Gordon will but not Psyonix.
But still you guys buy the game and support Psyonix. Does that make any sense?

Other companies often support officially one or two Linux distributions but try to fix every issue.
