I'd say ~7x resources and 10x tame. Consider some dinos require also 8 to 10 hours of tame, so that would speed the game a bit. I played with that settings for 100+ hours and that's really enjoyable. I abandoned because there were too hardcore player there but I'd like to join GOL private server!

Edit: also, this server really makes me want to throw money at gol :P

Map will not be changed now, as a bunch of people have already started. More than happy to change the map on our first wipe though.

3x taming speed has been put in.

Has harvest rate been adjusted?

I like defaults ;)

I might give this a go again now that there's a server.

its not out for Linux. If it will ever be.
Looks good though, hopefully it will be released to linux at some day also and hopefully they make use of vulkan by then.

Sad! I was thinking "Sweet, it's out?" and then "Sweet, it's out on Linux?" Conan Exiles looks fantastic (being a big fan of Conan doesn't hurt).

I thought it had been announced that there were plans for a Linux version?

I'll have to join in the fray, I haven't played the game for a long time due to the graphic glitches.

I had a bad experience a long time ago on an official server from griefers. That, and the friend I played with was a bit bossy/spoiley as he had played it for a while longer than I had.

Tried single player on Linux after that, but it would always crash on start, so I gave up. Then the paid DLC came out and I rage uninstalled it.....


But a private GOL server?

This may change everything.

Yeah, it's still Early Access, isn't it? How the hell can they be selling DLC already? How about fixing the damn thing....

But agreed, I may end up playing with some of the people here. Hopefully some of the Linux trolls don't come on and ruin it for everyone, or if they do we can get their names. :)
