Valve have put out a small Dota 2 update that aims to improve performance on the new Ryzen processors from AMD.
In an otherwise quite normal small patch was this note:
I wonder how many other games will be releasing patches for things like this. Since AMD is making the "many cores" configuration much more popular with Ryzen 7 I imagine a fair few game engines will start being updated to try and spread the load across more cores.

Since this is Source 2 related, it would be nice to see Counter-Strike GO get the Source 2/Vulkan/threading updates too as the Linux port would benefit due to the high fps nature of the game.

I wonder, was it also patched for Linux ?
