Dota 2 patched for AMD Ryzen

Valve have put out a small Dota 2 update that aims to improve performance on the new Ryzen processors from AMD.

In an otherwise quite normal small patch was this note:
Quote- Improved threading configuration for AMD Ryzen processors.

I wonder how many other games will be releasing patches for things like this. Since AMD is making the "many cores" configuration much more popular with Ryzen 7 I imagine a fair few game engines will start being updated to try and spread the load across more cores. Since this is Source 2 related, it would be nice to see Counter-Strike GO get the Source 2/Vulkan/threading updates too as the Linux port would benefit due to the high fps nature of the game.

Exactly what I was going to say. I look forward to more games doing the same.

I wonder, was it also patched for Linux ?
Edit: as there might not be anything to patch.
