As someone who has 54 hours now logged in the game, I couldn't be more excited. I really should finish the training though to properly learn how to do all the fancy-pants rocket jumping people keep annihilating me with (hello Marc).

The game is so much fun and their support for it is pretty great with all the free updates.

Exciting!

Haven't looked into RL recently, is it still in beta? Are there still broken maps?

The finished maps are ....finished and work great.
There are some maps to try out as well and some fun maps.
Very polished product.
Ah, nice. Thanks.
I just remember some maps, where only Linux users were kicked out on map loading. The beta was already working great, but had some issues. Cool that they were able to sort those issues out.

there's a deep integration between Psyonix and Steam multiplayer services so it will never happen.

I read the patch notes and haven't seen anything about linux being out of beta. For me it's more stable than it was after the initial release, but I still get occasional crashes when joining a game. It crashes maybe 1 out of 10 games I join, but it's not related to specific maps. I can relaunch the game and rejoin and only miss the first 10 seconds of the match. That would be a dealbreaker in higher levels of play, but I'm only shooting star so I can live with it for now.

That makes me sad.
