Friday has arrived and, as always, that means the arrival of the Friday Livestream. Once again we will fire up OBS and blast gameplay and associated commentary into the air for it to be caught by a telecommunications tower and be delivered to your monitor. So, grab your snacks and prepare for more live Linux gaming!
Livestream here: http://www.twitch.tv/gamingonlinux
As you might expect, today's gaming menu does include DiRT Rally and that will indeed be the first game to be played. We don't have any other new and interesting titles to be showcased, so the second game of the evening will likely be put to vote. Expect something along the lines of Clustertruck or a similar "casual" gaming experience. We will wrap up the evening with some Undertale, which we are going through as my current livestream project.
Hopefully you'll enjoy this set of games (and the commentary along with them) and have a nice weekend!

Torment: Tides of Numenera not your thing? Or do you not want to do that because it's more of a long term project?

Torment: Tides of Numenera not your thing? Or do you not want to do that because it's more of a long term project?Partially the fact that it would be a long term project and also partially due to the price. I'm going for a PC upgrade in near-future and 45€ is going to cut into my budget a fair bit, particularly since I already bought DiRT. Also, like you said, a fairly slow-moving RPG isn't going to work out too well in the livestream format. If it's anything like Wasteland 2, it would take me ages to complete and it's probably not something you can pick up and play, leave for a while and then jump back to, which is pretty important for a livestream.

Honestly, I don't think such text-heavy games as Torment: Tides of Numenera lend themselves well to let's plays. You either have to read aloud a LOT or awkwardly keep guessing the optimal time to advance the text the entire time.
