From their news post on the matter:
QuoteIt's been a long time since the last update and we wanted to let you all know what we've been working on. The next patch should be releasing soon, and with it we want to start supporting the Linux platform.
We're looking for players to help us test Linux builds and report bugs before the update goes live. If you have any Linux distribution installed and would like to help please let us know below and/or in our Discord server.
I've been excited for this one for quite some time now, as I was sent a key by some press team for it last year without them realizing the Linux version wasn't up yet.
I've done some initial testing for the developer after chatting to them in their Discord last night. After I notified them some files were missing, it now seems to run very well. It's actually really fun, challenging too with such a small arena and such powerful weapons it's actually rather hilarious.
We had a bit of trouble connecting together online and the developer repeatedly pushed out new builds, but it seems to be a back-end error with the Photon Unity networking they use. So it's possible right now the online isn't working. It does need more testers though, so let me know what you find in the comments.
It has a single-player mode with bots (which are actually pretty good, even on Easy) and local co-op so there's plenty of action to have.
Considering how well it runs, I doubt it will be long before the Linux build is pushed out to the main branch for everyone.
