Mad Max is currently 50% off on the Feral Store

Here's your chance to bag an awesome Linux game for cheap, Mad Max is currently 50% off on the Feral Store.

tagline-image

I have many hours logged in the game and plan to put in plenty more, so if you're still sitting on the fence about it this is a chance to get it cheaper for maximum enjoyment!

It's one of those games you can pump many hours into without realizing it, just cruising around in your beefed-up killing machine.

Buying from the Feral store gives Feral more money, since Steam doesn't get a cut. A nice way to support our friendly porting house. You get a Steam key from their store, just to be clear on that.

How many hours have you logged in Mad Max now? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Mad Max gave me ~90 entertaining hours of gameplay. Easily worth the price. Go grab it already.

Stopped to play it after 10 hours max. Ubisoft formula crap. Don't buy it. :)

I recommend this game. Look like a GTA in the desert! :P

Still only 1€/h, not bad. ;)

But seriously, if you dislike the Ubisoft/WB style third person open world action + exploration genre, or want all your gaming experiences be deep and involving, you might want to skip it. The rest of you will not be disappointed.

Once, but I'm one of those weird people who just can't help but thoroughly explore every nook and cranny. Also beat every racing challenge and whatnot.

I've played it for 84 hours, done lots of the side quests, and completed the main quest. Still got plenty of side quests to finish off. Very enjoyable throughout. Liked the upgrades, the car customisations, the way the fighting worked. Very happy with the graphics, the setting, voice acting, background music. It's a well constructed premium title that plays well.

My couple of niggles were: The climbing/jumping mechanic could have been better. I found it a bit irritating the slow-down when you take out a gun to aim it. Hunting around for all quest items in each quest location was somewhat painful/grindy.

Quoting: GuestHas anyone completed the game but still not finished most of the sidequests?
I need a savegame like that, my savegame is corrupted and it's not giving me the 100% completion on deep fria's territory, that means i can't get all the achievements.

Maybe you had some savegame that i can use? Or you didnt completed so much?

I don't think I got there, but I can take a look.

For some reason I get no sound output. In Settings/Audio I get NOSOUND under Driver (quoting from memory). For the life of me I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Have all the pulseaudio 32bit libraries too.

However, I got a few games where sound doesn't work: Book of Unwritten Tales 2, Don't Starve, etc.

Must be a simple thing I'm overlooking...
