The Beta is currently only on Steam, as that's the easiest way for the developer to gather feedback. See this post on the full details.

You can access it with the password "torvalds1969" in the Steam properties for the game, selecting the Betas tab.

About the game
STASIS is a point-and-click, sci-fi, horror adventure game played from a unique isometric perspective. STASIS intertwines a gruesome narrative with retro adventure gameplay. Combine items, interact with computers and solve puzzles while experiencing the gritty atmosphere.

In the distant future, aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft, John Maracheck awakes from stasis. He must push himself to new physical and emotional limits and unravel the mysteries around him. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Well... it's not really "now" as the passworded Linux beta branch is already available since may 2016 :)
It just got updated to the 2nd beta though. Here is the dialogue issue fixed, but it still seems to have some issues, like a segfault near the end.

Correct, I have cleared that up. I meant to say new beta, not just beta :)

Hope that the Stasis Linux beta will also come to GOG - because I own it on GOG and not Steam. And obviously, I'm a Linux gamer.

Fingers crossed!

If it's any help, the Windows version ran fine with Wine when I used it last year. I started playing the first beta but found a game-breaking bug so continued with Wine! It's a worthwhile game, though.

Well, the first beta was barely functional. This one seems a lot better so far. I am very glad, been looking forward to playing this for quite a while now.

He does plan to sell on GOG as well once all of the bugs are worked out. =)
