I'm torn about Bundle Stars, I used to buy a lot from them (good prices) but since I found out that all sales count as Windows sales...
The recently released The Whispered World Special Edition for example is €1.99 at Bundle Stars, still I'm gonna pass.

Technically, I think that really only matters for external porters.

I'm still pretty sure developers will be able to see key activation's from Linux.

There was a comment some time ago that Bundle Stars only had Windows keys for Feral's games, so don't buy theirs, all others should be fair game.

Hey, that's great, thank you for clarifications :)

That's how probably it is, in fact there is just a Windows icon on titles such as Shadow of Mordor, Borderlands 2, Mad Max, etc..
While many other are listed with a Linux icon (Saints Row, etc..).

I'd just ignore them completely until they have some kind of clarification how there sales are counted.

Hey, don't confuse me man, I already have a cup of coffee ready and browsing their Linux games. :S:

In all fairness it really shouldn't be up to a user to deal with this. We know they don't have keys that let Feral get paid. Again, this is only an external porter problem. All others are fair-game as far as I care.

Groupees Linux bundle has a couple of good games too

Crypt of the Necrodancer is a fantastic game. Well worth picking up. 75% is highest discount to date AFAIK.

A big one: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is 70% off ( £11.99 ) on Humble Store ( Steam key ).

Dirt rally is 60% off on Bundlestars. I might get it, because it makes it affordable.

The store page claims it has Linux support, is that an outright lie?

The choice is ultimately yours, personally though, I wouldn't buy a Feral game from there since last we heard directly from Feral is that Bundle Stars keys won't let them get paid. Again though, that's only for Feral games and the final choice is yours.

I'm not in any real hurry, and I know there will be other sales in other places. You make a good point, I do want to support Feral. I'm not even halfway through Mankind divided yet anyway, because I get distracted by Rocket League and Descent 3 of all games. (Got it through GOG a long while ago, run it through wine using PlayOnLinux, and recently bought a used Saitek Cyborg Evo joystick. Turns out that Descent is a helluva lot more addictive when you have a proper joystick!)

I like to buy from the Humble Store though, because they give 5% to EFF. Are they better in this respect?

They are. They even list Feral Interactive as a publisher unlike Bundle Stars.
