All Walls Must Fall [Kickstarter, Official Site], an isometric tactics game currently in the final days of Kickstarter has promised same-day Linux support!
As of right now the Kickstarter is fully funded and has a few days left.
Check out the Kickstarter trailer:
Interestingly, they are very open about Linux support in their FAQ:
About the game
All Walls Must Fall is a tech-noir spy thriller set in Berlin 2089 where the Cold War never ended. A game in the isometric action tactics genre, you command secret agents using time travel, social stealth and combat. Prevent nuclear annihilation. Bring down the Wall. Love, kill, and remix reality to explore the meaning of freedom in a parable reflecting upon current global issues in the mirror of a fantastic future past.
It looks and sounds like a good mix of XCOM and Invisible Inc. two really great strategy games.
I have to admit, this one very much has my interest and if I had the funds available I would probably back it myself. I love how open they are about their status of Linux support and it does look good too.
Thanks for the tip micha!

QuoteThey’ll be available all at the same time once we launch! We already have Linux and Mac builds as part of our internal Friends & Family build that we’ve been running for a few months now. As soon as the Closed Alpha on itch begins in May, we’ll have Linux and Mac versions alongside the Windows version.

Yeah, right.
I'll buy it when it's released, it does look good. I like that they say "PC first" and include Windows, Mac and Linux in that category.

Little known fact about the Berlin wall: The Americans and Brits were doing large scale sabotage which was crippling East Berlin's efforts to recover and reindustrialize after the war (and killing quite a few people). The wall was originally as much a response to that as it was an attempt to stop people leaving.
