Just a quick update about the great online FPS Ballistic Overkill [Steam]. I spoke to the developers on Twitter and it's possible it may see a Unity upgrade to get Vulkan.
When asking them if they will upgrade to Unity 5.6 and go with Vulkan they said:
@gamingonlinux We'll be working on it during next weeks :)

And also:
@gamingonlinux For certain we are going to try, and put it out if it doesn't break the game.

Great news. It's a damn fun FPS game and we run three servers for it. Our servers are pretty popular too, with at least one always full every time I load up.
We've had tons of fun with the game while doing our "Ballistic Monday" event. We play it on one of our servers and livestream it every Monday evening around 8PM (UK time) and anyone is free to join us.

Quoting: silmethStrange. I come to the Gaming on Windows 10 site to read some proper Win10 and Xbox Live content, hopefully with modern cutting-edge technologies like DX12, and what I see is articles about some Vulkan in Unity games on Linux. Shite.
These Linnux suxors are just to cheap for a real os...!

If you had an earlier version of Windows, maybe. That’s still not free of charge for people looking for an OS for their OS-less hardware, nor free-as-in-freedom. ;-)

I had Vista, so it wouldn't be free for me.
