Yup, it's teaser time again! Feral Interactive are teasing another new Linux & Mac port on their infamous teaser radar.

You know how this works by now, Feral tease a picture with another clue and we have no idea what it will be until it's released.

Here it is:

Begin the guessing game, what do you think it could be? I think it's good to see another teaser for Linux appear!

For those that don't already know, Feral Interactive are the company behind many Linux ports like Shadow of Mordor, XCOM, Tomb Raider, Mad Max and quite a number more. Their Linux catalogue is pretty damn impressive right now. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

You know it's already available on Linux?

At the end of the day whatever it is most of us on here are going to happily buy it.

I will always guess Skyrim. No matter what the hint, it means Skyrim.

Love this philosophical line, no matter what it's Sryrim.

The first thins that popped in my memory was Daikatana, but after refreshing my memory i realized that i was totally insane, nothing of it.

So I will say ... Skyrim

I think Daikatana has a source port out there somewhere.

Why cant it be Witcher 3 :'(

Well, Rise of the Tomb Raider is also okay-ish ^_^

EDIT: Anyone else noticed that there is only one Linux title on their radar and only 3 in total? Everything alright @feral?

The silence before the storm.

I'm sure they got more plans, games will apper on the radar when they are getting ready for release.
Im assuming its not to cleaver to announce a port right after you get the licens for it, just look at the steam forums on games that are promesing a linux port / mac port :P.

That says "tea". Is there a game about making tea? I dunno, maybe it's Alice: Madness Returns.

Tea Ceremony Simulator! Woo!

Feral has never put a platform icon on the radar for something that was already released. So if Shogun 2 is coming, it's not on the radar yet.

Mac doesn't have Vulkan. Also they won't put technical improvements on the radar. Just new releases.

Sorry but it wouldn't - Deadpool is a game that according to the reviews are mediocre at best. it's not a good game at all. Of all the releases this could be we want a game that's picked from the top shelf.

I'm hoping, crying, begging that it's NieR: Automata. That would be awesome.

From the game quoted on this thread, i think i actually want Warframe. I played it a little when i was dual booting a few years ago, and stopped when i throw Windows away. I still have friends playing it, and they say it's great(er).

Okay guys, let's get some more structured. :)

As I see it, Feral has so far ported games from the following developer studios (publishers):

Codemasters
Creative Assembly (SEGA)
Relic Entertainment (SEGA)
Eidos Montreal (Square Enix)
Dontnod Entertainment (Square Enix)
Crystal Dynamics (Square Enix)
Avalanche Studios (Warner Bros.)
Monolith Productions (Warner Bros.)
Relic Entertainment (THQ)
Firaxis Games (2K Games)

If I look into this list and remember the already ported games, then I notice first that Tomb Raider 2016 still pending. However, I also feel Nier: Automata is realistic. Square Enix is the only publisher that has already released games from three different developers. Insofar as the porting is not too expensive, both games would make economic absolute sense. The games are top sellers and even with only 0.8% of the steam marked Feral could sell a lot of copies. I think such a port is worth it.

But the Chinese symbol for tea and "made for wade"? What the heck? How this could belong to Tomb Raider or Nier: Automata?

Am I missing something?

EDIT: Please don't consider games which are already ported to Mac. So it can't be Total War: Shogun 2. Sorry. ;)

With the symbol meaning tea a couple things come to mind. Along with what others have mentioned. Shadow warrior 2 has a side mission called monster tea party. Also a stretch but if you do a search for "tea made to wade" results will show red rose tea company that also offered figurines made by wade. Although neither appear in street fighter v (yet) you have rose as a character and also you have Dudley who has red roses and drinks tea. That may be looking too much into it haha
1xok Apr 10, 2017
Okay, I think I've come a step further. Now it becomes linguistic. Look at this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplified_Wade

Simplified Wade. MADE TO WADE. This could mean that we should transliterate the Mandarin symbol for tea to roman characters. MADE TO (get transliterate with simplified) WADE.

茶 = cha

Right?

Any ideas about cha and games? :/
