I see this term used quite a bit on this site, and I don't know what it means.

What is 'Roguelike'? Is that just a term for a top down view style game?

I would have rather supported Feral by directly buying Dirt Rally from them but it was too pricey for me @49.99€, couldn't resist the Humble Monthly :(

Rogue was an old ASCII adventure game. It had randomly generated rooms and focused on exploring said rooms. Modern Roguelikes tend to have procedurally generated levels, enemies, and weapons, as well as permanent death.

It means it has rogue like elements so basically perma deaths etc but with various elements from other games is ziggaurat is a fps mixed with a rouge game so its a rouge like.

I'm waiting on a Feral sale for Dirt Rally, I will buy directly from them if possible. But I don't blame you, it costs too much right now and I was tempted by the humble bundle aswell.

For sure you missed that one on GOG:
Anima: Gate of Memories at -33%.
Not a huge discount, granted, but a great game ;)

(Here is your review from last November)
I cannot include every game, every time. That thoughts post is also old and the game is not good once you get properly into it.

Thanks for the heads up, Liam.

I got Dirt Rally from Humble Bundle. Was pleasantly surprised about how well optimized it is. You can really turn down the graphics, even to the point of replacing objects with sprites. I managed to run it on my modest Quadro K1100M at 1600x900 on medium settings at 30-35 FPS. Can go up to 60 FPS if I really don't care about the looks.

That's not amazing, I know. But for somebody who never owned a proper gaming machine, this is perfectly playable. In comparison I can only get around 20 FPS from Mankind Divided at 800x600 and all options on lowest.

I can't recommend Planetary Annihilation: TITANS enough. You'll often be able to find me in the (discord) PA Community Centre. ;)

Of those games listed, only 4 I'm missing. =P

Yes, I picked up DiRT Rally in the Humble Monthly Subscription. Hoping that INSIDE might make its way to Linux (eventually). I was another one where I wasn't keen enough on DiRT Rally to pay full price. But at the Subscription price: "Yeah, why not!"

Also I recently picked up "7 Days To Die" on Humble Store (and used my Subscription 10% extra discount). I've been playing 7DTD and quite enjoying it. Full price: £18.99 Humble current price: £7.59 10% extra off: £6.83
And the link: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/7-days-to-die

Picked up GoNNER on Humble Store as well, same 10% extra Subscription discount: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/gonner-press-jump-to-die-edition

Those titles are all still on sale (at time of posting).
