NVIDIA users need driver version 375.26 or later. AMD and Intel need Mesa 17.1.
Really awesome to know all major GPU vendors will be supported on Linux, but it's not surprising considering how far Mesa has come in such a short amount of time.
Not long to wait as the games release for Linux on May 23rd! See their news post for more.

Before Valve started supporting Linux I had exactly ONE game that worked in Linux, I now have nearly 800.
How many Feral ports are for games that have been available on GOG as Windows only games? If the answer is None you have your reason why Feral only offer Steam keys.
I don't really understand what you mean. As far as I know, none of games that Feral ported have any version on GOG.

I'm asking about why Feral pick only such cases to port. That's already something they choose.
May I ask why you are phrasing it like this? Is there an indication that Feral chooses for themselves which games they port?
As far as I know, Feral choose it. Which differs from porting companies which are hired to port something. In case of Feral, they propose other gaming companies to port the game (and to bear all the costs for it), and in return they ask to share the profit from Linux sales (however they measure that). At least that's how I understood it, others can correct me if that's wrong.
Or do you mean that Feral has more contractual offers than they could handle and they are deliberately only picking ones with Steam DRM? That would be pretty cool, just because that would mean that the Linux market is so big, that Feral and Aspyr can't even handle all the requests. But I doubt that.
I mean it looks like they only pick titles to port which are owned by publishers who are pro-DRM (or against releasing in DRM-free stores).

That was my point, none of the games they've ported have been on GOG because the Windows versions weren't on GOG either, the original developers/publishers only use Steam to release their games so it makes sense that the Feral ports only exist on Steam. Before Valve started supporting Linux I had exactly ONE game that worked in Linux, I now have nearly 800.

I'm repeating myself for the third time already. I'm not asking about DRM minded publishers, I'm asking why Feral choose to port only games from such.

Probably because they're the ones who make the most money.the original developers/publishers only use Steam to release their games so it makes sense that the Feral ports only exist on Steam.

As you said yourself, they can only make a proposition to port a game. They can't choose to do it on their own. Technically and legally.
If the information from "http://steam.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_DRM-free_games" is correct, Feral made several Mac ports for Games that are without DRM: Batman - Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, Rayman® Origins, Fable - The Lost Chapters and Sid Meier's Railroads.

Then you'd need to claim it's a coincidence. But I'm not convinced. See above, answer from Feral themselves which makes it clear it's not.

Then email Feral and have a chat with them? Making up conspiracy theories here does nothing about it ;)
There is no conspiracy and no coincidence, it's business and they don't generally port games that are on GOG. This has all been pointed out and you're making it go in circles now.

That's exactly what I was saying. Unlike some here, who claim that current situation is random and it just "happens" that Feral didn't release any game through DRM-free stores yet.

If Feral do port a game that is on both Steam and GOG I'm sure the Linux version will get on GOG too. I wouls hope so at least. There is no conspiracy and no coincidence, it's business and they don't generally port games that are on GOG.

Yes, it's something I implicitly expect too. So it's not about "why Feral's Linux version isn't on GOG while Windows one is", but about their preference of porting Steam only games.

Which has also been explained plenty, hence my point about going in circles ;)If Feral do port a game that is on both Steam and GOG I'm sure the Linux version will get on GOG too. I wouls hope so at least.

Explained, but not satisfactory IMHO. Feral are probably reading this thread, and if it's something as simple as provided guesses, they can confirm or correct them.

There's plenty of reasons why companies don't like telling people everything about their decision making. For one, someone will always make a big fuss of it.
Anyway, i think this has been debated enough for me :)

If it's not related to deals with partners which they can't discuss, usually those reasons are related to the fact that they exclude some people ;) I personally don't see anything wrong with admitting that fact though.

Next time , i will to the Feral ' Hey , yo Feral! Shmerl wants you games on GOG , because he is Polish and he has somekind of fanatizm, patriotizm about GOG so he somehow wants you to break main developers or publishers attitude. Don't mind if he is talking about other Drm-free stores ; he only cares about GOG'
Dude , enough of that your GOG loving movements. No matter what we approach you ; you're still trying to blame Feral and somehow Valve itself. Drop it off.
If you are not happy about it ; tell your beloved GOG to care about Linux by porting their titles and Galaxy , not treating us as second class citizens. Maybe after that ; our rising Linux porter Feral can consider that.
Hey Leopard,
Shmerl has an opinion and that is justified.
Please don't blame others for their thoughts/interests - this is really childish - and does not help.
Thats the normal comment here. Respect the others likes or opinions about gog or steam. In the last time i commented and give like to someway talking about the shogun 2 is a an another total car ror linux.. And now im in the naughty list and need moderation ln my comments. Is that real? For now im i retire the patreon, using the same childish logic.and will do now.Probably mi coment will be no posted

A side-effect of it, was that if you hadn't posted in the forum 3+ times (and the posts were approved), but you did make plenty of article comments, it would see you as having to go through the approvals process. I have since adjusted it to remove any older users from the mod queue who made at least 3 article comments.Everyone has to go through the approvals process (as detailed in that article) a few times before it auto-removes them. To combat spam and toxic comments. You have not been manually put it anything.
