Not to be confused with Feral's teaser from April, this one only has a Linux icon and it's apparently due 'Very Soon'.

On their teaser radar is the above image with the wording "Spice Clove", which as usual I have no idea. I do love a good guessing game though and Feral do usually port good games.

The fact that it only has a Linux icon, could mean it's a game they have previously ported to Mac or something entirely new.

Begin guessing, what do you think it is? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quoting: KeyrockI hope it's Shadow Warrior 2. More likely ot will be Shogun 2, sigh.
I forgot about Shadow Warrrior 2, but I still think it's Shogun 2.

As usual, I go full denial mode and pretend it's a very, VERY obscure hint at Skyrim or Fallout 4. At this time I am not even sure which games other than Bethesda's full inventory sans Doom I could even want. There haven't been terribly interesting (for me) new releases in months, even on Windows.
I've been playing Shogun 2 for a week under Wine now, even installed Steam (Win) for that. It runs remarkably well with DX9 (both with standard translation layer and Gallium Nine state tracker). The only thing that annoys me is a warning at the beginning of every battle that the game executable has been tampered with. So my hopes are high that Feral's next port will be Shogun 2. <3

Identical titles over and over again.

DoW and now this.

@Leopard: maybe not... Maybe not. I really don't like RTS, finding them boring, so if its DoW or Shogun - no fun for me. Even mentioned Skyrim would be nice surprise (as I prefer S-F than fantasy :D).

We need more than strategy titles, we need open world rpg's and fast paced shooters so badly.

Doom , Skyrim and Witcher 3 titles are so desperately needed. Well, they're more mainstreamed and well known titles. Shogun and DoW are not so helpful to Linux.

Yes, yes we do. Sorely.

Hear hear.

Not that I have anything against strategy games or turn based isometric RPGs in itself, but there's a serious overload of'em, especially if we talk relatively in the catalogue available for Linux.

Sleeping Dogs is set in China, not Japan.
