Take this with a pinch of salt, as the Feral incoming port radar seems to be acting up, but it's possible Rome: Total War [Steam] might be another future port from Feral Interactive.
Taken from their radar today:
It seems it has since been removed.
Then there's also the support page for it, claiming it was released for Linux this month:
Rome: Total War is another highly rated strategy game, which Feral actually ported to iOS not long ago, so it's entirely possible it will come to Linux.
Feral never comment on things they haven't announced, so I will have to wait and see what happens here.

Also, Rome is still one of the more popular games in the series, between the nostalgia factor (it was the first proper 3D Total War, and for many gamers, it was their first game in the series), and the relative simplicity of the gameplay. I wouldn't be surprised if it sells more than some of the later TW games.
Do you have a recommendation for a Total War to try for modern graphics and "relatively simplistic" gameplay?
yeah and a tutorial to understand what happens on screen XD
In my Total War, I see soldiers killed and map with stuffs happening. No idea how I can act on the game, like in Crusader king 2 of Paradox. I would have love to play it but I don't have 3 weeks to understand the mechanism of a game. :'-(

Obviously the radar is a bit glitchy. What it meant to say is that Feral will be porting both Witcher 3 and Skyrim into a single game! How could you not have seen that? :P

Total Car!
I want this game. Armies of Mad Max styled vehicles charging at one another across the wasteland.

So are those people who complain that we are getting one more game in this site a new breed of the troll that goes to our Steam posts just to say "-1" or stuff alike?

You could see it the way Feral should use their time on something I as commenter want to play.
(I don't see it that way, enough to play for now and mid-range future and mainly caring for Feral doing well commercially.)

Been waiting for this since I first switched to Linux in 2006!

Ancient Rome is one of my most favorite periods in history. I was hoping to see the two Total War games set there on Linux one day!

Feral likely have multiple development teams (I dont know any specifics about their internals fyi), likely working on more than one port at a time. People likely forget this.So are those people who complain that we are getting one more game in this site a new breed of the troll that goes to our Steam posts just to say "-1" or stuff alike?

This is no different from Windows guys saying the devs should be doing whatever else on the game instead of porting....

I'd be very happy if the whole series was ported to Linux, I've sunk more time into Total War than any other series/franchise.

You know it makes sense. ;) If anyone from Feral are reading this, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on. You know you want to. ;)

Dude if you understood CK2 , these games are cake by comparison.
My guess it'll be more like 3 hours on YT for you.
Think I would need about 5 to learn.
And think that you don;t have to master it. You'll loose mostly at the beginning. I did as well with Paradox games.
But I learned as I lost.

Hey Liam, I think it would be awesome if you would be able to do an interview with Feral about Vulkan, questions like how challenging was the Mad Max conversion, experiences, pitfalls and wins from their first time developing a Vulkan title, how they see the API progressing, how the dev community is taking to the API, how it compared to working with OpenGL, etc, etc. I would find it really interesting if they can share some stories/info without giving away their trade secrets. Perhaps developers such as Yaakuro, Croteam and Khronos group themselves could also comment? I think that would be great content for the site, maybe as a follow up after the UK Vulkan meetup at the end of May?

It looks like they aren't working on Shadow Warrior 2 after all. See here.
If it means not in the near future, then it probably rules out Shadow Warrior 2, since Flying Wild Hog surely would be interested in releasing the Linux version on GOG.
I still don't get though, whether it's a coincidence, or Feral purposefully intend to release through Steam only. The more releases they make, the less likely it's a coincidence IMHO.

Q: Do you plan to ever release any (future) ports on GOG? I don't think there are any games from you there yet.
A: Not at the moment, nope.
