Pyre [Steam, Official Site], the next game from Transistor developer Supergiant Games is coming to Linux! The port is being done by Ethan Lee and it should see a day-1 Linux release.
About the game
It sounds like an interesting idea, where you're never forced to lose. Your journey will continue if you win or lose and each game will end up being a little different.
Exciting, as it looks fantastic and their previous games have all been very well received by many.

About the game
QuotePyre is a party-based RPG in which you lead a band of exiles to freedom through ancient competitions spread across a vast, mystical purgatory. Who shall return to glory, and who shall remain in exile to the end of their days?

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I like Supergiant's work a lot, even if I've got a habit of not actually finishing their games.

Even on Windows sys reqs , there is no mention DirectX. Probably they've never touched DirectX for this game.

I really like how their games look and feel, but I just can't seem to enjoy the actual gameplay. I have no idea why exactly.

Putting this one down on the "watch a playthrough someday" list.

Color me interested. I really like the idea of battles being played as kind of a sport.

Gampelay only seems to be 1/ dialogues and 2/sport-fighting phases?

It sounds like Darren Korb is on soundtrack duties again, that alone is reason enough for me to buy the game.
