While not as exciting as some of the previous updates, the ever-popular Rocket League [Official Site] has just dropped another update with a few new toys.

I admit to playing a fair share of Rocket League from time to time, it’s a pretty good game to play on the couch with friends, as the chaotic action and teamwork leads to some pretty epic matches. This latest 1.34 update adds back the Neo Tokyo stage as a standard arena, with the original map being renamed “Tokyo Underpass” and being relegated to offline and private matches only. There’s a few other things, including new crates with new cosmetic drops and the Mantis Battle-Car. Most importantly, a nasty bug has been squashed, finally making it so the bunny ears hat will flop in the right direction. See the full 1.34 patch notes here.

This update also sees the initial integration of the actual toys Psyonix has put out with partners. These physical toy cars will come with codes that can be redeemed in-game, giving players exclusive cosmetic items. The toys will be available sometime in the coming months, and you can see the gif below as to what they’ll look like:

History, sci-fi, technology, cooking, writing and playing games are things I enjoy very much. I'm always keen to try different genres of games and discover all the gems out there.

Oh and the name doesn't mean anything but coincidentally could be pronounced as "Buttery" which suits me just fine.

I don't know if it's running better now because of patches, or because I finally abandoned that godforsaken fglrx.

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionI don't know if it's running better now because of patches, or because I finally abandoned that godforsaken fglrx.

Probably because of the dropping fglrx.

How can you stand with it until now?

Complacency. Everything was working well enough so, meh, why break it?

How long are we Linux users expected to say in the beta limbo (is a little AA to much to ask for)? :(
