From the Steam forum, Stardock's CEO posted:
QuoteWith the Vulkan work coming to an end, we are considering the port to Linux.

If you are interested in a Linux version, please sign here.

It already has 10 pages of replies.

So if you're interested and would actually buy a copy if it gets a Linux release, head to the Steam topic to give your support.

As a massive fan of strategy titles like this, it has my full support.

Hopefully Stardock are smart enough to not do it just for the money, the game itself would be more alive with a few thousand+ extra players for the online play. We all know these types of real time strategy games aren't as popular as they once were, if they want the game to stay alive, they need the extra players. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Should this happen, I hope they will provide it to GOG. This bad trend of not providing Linux ports to GOG has to stop (Looking at you Deep Silver).

I'll definitely sign this one up when I'm back at the computer and will ask all my friends using Linux to do so as well, if there're interested. (:

Is it just me or does this seem a lot like supreme commander: forged alliance?

I really like this game, it reminds me of starcraft2. I'm gonna buy it when it releases for Linux.

Quoting: MintedGamerI would definitely buy this game for Linux, there aren't enough RTS games like this any more.

Tbh I've been waiting on a modern Supreme Commander for linux for what feels like an eternity !

According to my reading over the last few months (or years already ?), it's not a modern SupCom, it's not a bad RTS but it's a different taste than TA/SupCom.

I didn't mean as a "new supcom" just in the way it works/plays. Was a big fan of TA/Supcom.

Did you ever check out Planetary Annihilation: TITANS? It is made by some of the same developers from Supreme Commander. I really liked it and it's available in Linux.

As for this game, I posted my support for it yesterday and will definitely buy if released on Linux as it's my only system, and the options in bug titles is limited.

already have it , It's not bad I admit, something don't quite click for me with it. know idea why .

Not just them though GOG has not bothered to port have the dosbox emulated games or really any of the recent EA The saboteur for example works flawlessly under wine, no reason why it should not be native.
