Here's your chance to get Stellaris for cheap, as it's the new early unlock for the next Humble Monthly bundle.
For $12 a month (or less if you pay for more months), the Humble Monthly bundle will throw games at you. Each month they give you an early unlock where you instantly get the featured game. This month is Stellaris, the space strategy game from Paradox.
You also gain access to experimental games, but it's never clear which of those support Linux as they never list platform icons on the monthly bundle page.
At the end of the month, they also throw more games at you, but you never know what they will be.
Not a bad deal for Stellaris by itself really, usually the early unlock is a pretty decent game discounted.

It's working awesome!
Since the beginning of 2017, I got Xcom2, Steamworld Heist, Total War: Warhammer, Rive & Dirt Rally via Humble Monthly and I didn't mention the Windows only games that I didn't reclaim.
Also, I easily skipped the month of April bundle because the main game wasn't on Linux (The Witness); if you don't want to completely cancel your subscription you have the option to do so for the next bundle and it resumes afterward.
What more to say?! Satisfied customer.

April: Black Mesa, Layers of Fear, Tumblestone, Slime-san. Event[0] and The witness may come later
March: TotalWar Warhammer, RIVE, Poly Bridge, Uurnog, Flat Heroes

True enough but it's not my main way of bying games. The vast majority was bought through Steam store. Humble monthly is "running on the side". I would have major second toughts if I bought my games exclusively on Monthly bundle.

Bought the April monthly for Dirt Rally, which was a disappointment due to its difficulty. Otherwise, the bundle seems OK. 4 out of the 6 surprise games are on Linux and have good reviews. But those are games I would never buy. Will try them out to see if I like them. :)

I was very skeptical of humble monthly at first, but I started subscribing in February and have been very pleased.

About 9 months ago I knew money was going to be tight for several months so I bit the bullet and bought a year subscription at once. I've been very satisfied with my purchase so far. Not every month is great. I've gotten a lot of games that I wouldn't have bought on my own, some of which I ended up liking quite a bit. Some months are better than others but overall I think it's a good value. For $11 a month I feel like I've gotten a great deal with all the games I've gotten. I still have 3 more to go and am excited to play Stellaris

Been subscribed since january of this year, so far pretty good titles. Started to play that This Is The Police from this month's bundle and I LOVE it, will keep playing (like i have time for that :D)

I've been subscribed since XCOM 2. I didn't want that one a whole lot to be honest, but the bundle for $12 was still worth it to me. Since then, every month that they tell you what the front-runner game of the next month is going to be, I can't unsubscribe! I think it rocks. I wanted the Warhammer game really bad, I wanted Dirt really bad, and next month is Stellaris?! It's amazing.
It also helps that I dropped my EVE subscription at the same time I signed up for Humble Monthly. :)
For the purists out there, you can gift Windows-only games (with no hope of coming to Linux) to your friends on the dark side. That's what I do. I did, however, keep The Witness because I really want it to come to Linux. :S:

Sorry for not beeing clear. I meant that Inside may come to linux at some point. AFAIK it currently isn't.
And I pretty much do the same with the non-linux titles.

As far as I am concerned, I just love that game so far. Just like both GRID Autosport & F1 2015, it strikes the perfect balance between taking risks and driving carefully.

As someone who (a) sniffs out bargains and (b) is primarily a Linux gamer, the Humble Monthly Subscriptions are generally very tempting. I get them if I like the early unlock, and I only buy one month at a time. If I like the early unlock AND it is out on Linux, then I'm very likely to get the Month's Subscription. Much of the time, I've been happy with the Surprise content, but not blown away by it.
My first Monthly was May 2016, where I got Mad Max ahead of the rumours of it coming to Linux, and then it came to Linux. (Yes, I took a bit of a risk, but I would have played the game on Windows if it didn't come to Linux.)
June 2016 - Rocket League ( + The Forest, Planetary Annihilation Titans, Steredenn, Wasted, ... )
December 2016 - Dragon's Dogma NOT Linux :( ( + The Escapists, Flame in the Flood, Mordheim, Hacknet) - not a good month for Linux. (I really wanted DD, and plan to play on WINE or Windows.)
Feb 2017 - X-COM 2 ( + Steamworld Heist, Okhlos, Ryse son of rome, Husk, ABZU, ... )
March 2017 - Total War: Warhammer ( + RIVE, Flat Heroes, Space Run Galaxy, Poly Bridge, ... )
May 2017 - Dirt Rally + Inside ( + Metrico+, The Turing Test, Undertale, This is the Police, ... )
