Another time to show support for a game to come to Linux, if you would buy it that is. The developer of Inner Voices [Steam, Official Site] has stated with enough support they will bring it to Linux.

Spooky! It certainly has my interest.

In this post asking for feedback on various things, Linux users requested Linux support to which the developer replied with:
QuoteHeyah Penguin! :D Glad to have you on board!
Well, it is not as easy as people think. Yes, hitting another "export" button is one step of the process, but there are many more. I can explain the whole operation if you insist, but it'll be a wall a text.
Long story short - if enough people would request a Linux version - we'll get busy right away :D

I love the positivity and additionally once another Linux gamer said they would buy it, they developer replied again with:
QuoteYou had my curiosity, but now you have my attention
Bring more people and the odds shall rise! >:D

Features
  • Non-LINEAR storyline.
  • Intriguing, disquieting gameplay due to the ever-changing randomized maze.
  • Unique, dark atmosphere inspired by the works of H.P.Lovecraft, E.A.Poe and S.King.
  • An amazing experience thanks to the moody soundtrack and audio design
  • Addictive story full of plot twists and choices that may lead you to one of 5 different ending
  • A possibility of enjoying the game in 4 different cinematic languages: English, Polish, Turkish and Russian
  • Engaging puzzles with different levels of complexity

Remember though, don't just say you will buy it if you don't actually plan to. This inflates our numbers and doesn't help. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'd be happy to help testing. I'm on Ubuntu 17.04 and my PC specs viewable, so you can check whether it adds to the diversity for testers.

I'd love to jump on board to help find Linux specific bugs and crashes! :P

You should probably differentiate the public somewhat. Pick someone with relatively weak configuration and more AMD-inclined (currently there are too many InTel and nVidia users).
Find someone with FX or RyZen CPU or RX??? GPU.

P.S. I was not suggesting myself! :) That should be someone else.

I would put myself forward to help test but current events in my offline life (in the last 24 hrs) mean I just don't have the time to do it justice. I'll just buy it when you release. :D

Hello! ^_^

So okay guys. I have a working Linux build ready. Problem? I have no means to check if its working and how its working. We did tested it on one fresh DEFAULT linux build but you know how it works with defaults - no one has a truly default build (which is the beauty of linux - being modular with powerful customization possibilities).

I'll make a separate thread on Steam and explain exacly how can you get your hands on linux build. Of course - I will provide a free copies for every tester (lol no - I won't be telling you to buy the game aka make you pay to test it XD).
Of course - you are free to talk openly about anything and everything. I am a huge enemy of feedback embargos and all that NDA (non-disclosure agreement) bullshit.

Just... don't drop the free keys on the internet, okay? Sorry for asking. Its just that.... Umm. 4 days before release on steam the game had been leaked on torrents by... one of the first reviewers/LetsPlayers. (Yeah, you've read that right - we gave a free DRM copy of the game for a review and the guy had put it on the internet...)

Anybody interested - please contact me via THIS thread

Also - have a lovely weekend! :D

In this case, you'd better put that DRM-free copy on Humble Store, GOG and itch.io as well! ^.^

Working on it. Itch and Humble shouldn't be a problem. The problem is still GoG. Still not enough noise to change their mind :'(((

Yes, GOG can be very self-righteous (and generally pain in the you-know-where to deal with), sometimes refusing to publish games under ridiculous reasons ("The puzzles in you game are too difficult for our audience" or "Your game has too little gameplay" ). :(
