The multiplayer is currently Linux to Linux only, from the press email:

Two games from Feral Interactive's previous Mac ports, so it's nice to see them working through their older titles for us too.
I've asked Samsai to take the lead on the port report for this one, since Total War games aren't really something I'm greatly interested in. Even without my personal interest in it, this will be great to have on Linux since SHOGUN 2 is one of the most highly rated in the series!

Does anyone know "if" I buy Shogun 2 on Humble (which is currently on Sale there) that Feral, the porters, will get their cut for a Linux purchase or not? https://www.humblebundle.com/store/total-war-shogun-2-collection
TW:S2 isn't really my sort of game, and as such I am very unlikely to pay full price for it. But getting it at a substantial reduction, sure, I can drop some cash and give a little support to a Linux porter.

To the best of common knowledge, Humble is doing well in distinguishing OS sales.
