Since there's a sale going on, I'm going to take another quick look at some of the best sales of Linux games going on right now.
Here's what you really shouldn't miss out on!
Who says you need to be rich to afford great games eh? So many sales each year it's easy to snap up a bargain. What has eaten away at your wallet this week?
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to play more Micro Machines World Series, I might have a slight addiction coming on. Sadly it's not on sale as it's a brand new release.
Here's what you really shouldn't miss out on!
- Valve Complete Pack - 91% off - Absolute steal!
- Crypt of the NecroDancer - 80% off
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - 80% off
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - 75% off
- Sid Meier's Civilization V - 75% off
- Tomb Raider - 75% off
- XCOM 2 - 67% off
- The Long Dark - 60% off
- Maia - 50% off - Early Access, but shows massive promise

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: Code Artisan-25% Alwa's Awakening (My current favorite game for this year)
I've been very interested in Shovel Knight 20% off, it seems to never go much on sale, and it's still quite an expensive title, but it's tempting. I want a game to play with my SNES controller!
Would Alwas Awakening be playable with SNES controller? I might look at that instead. Is the game very hard? Except for the price, the thing that puts me off Shovel Knight is difficulty - I have little patience for very hard games (like "I wanna be the guy" - I got quite far, but in the end tired of redoing stuff).

I thought, "Maybe I should get XCOM 2 someday," only to see I already own it!

Quoting: xaviI love metroidvanias, when I was a kid I played a lot Vampire Killer on the MSX, that was the precursor of Castlevania.
Cool, someone who had MSX,too! Where are you from? Not too many people had one here in Germany...
Interestingly, I wasn't into Metroidvania even back then. I stopped Vampire Killer after some minutes, but loved e.g. Metal Gear or Maze of Galious.

Hello, I'm from Barcelona. I have an MSX, MSX2 and MSX2+ (a group of 50 people imported them from japan). I also still have my Atari 2600 console.
That games were amazing, like all the Konami games of the era, specially for MSX2.
Games nowadays are two much kill-people oriented. There's one game called La Mulana that is supposed to be inspired on Maze of Galious and you find MSX cartridges on the game... but they made a new version and all the MSX stuff were removed... reading this I never player it.
There's a Maze of Galious remake, I played years ago and was so good: http://www.braingames.getput.com/mog/
Linux version, of course: http://www.braingames.getput.com/mog/
I remember being all the summer trying to find the door on one of the top corners of the castle. Nowadays we have not that patience.
