Since there's a sale going on, I'm going to take another quick look at some of the best sales of Linux games going on right now.
Here's what you really shouldn't miss out on!
Who says you need to be rich to afford great games eh? So many sales each year it's easy to snap up a bargain. What has eaten away at your wallet this week?
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to play more Micro Machines World Series, I might have a slight addiction coming on. Sadly it's not on sale as it's a brand new release.
Here's what you really shouldn't miss out on!
- Valve Complete Pack - 91% off - Absolute steal!
- Crypt of the NecroDancer - 80% off
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - 80% off
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - 75% off
- Sid Meier's Civilization V - 75% off
- Tomb Raider - 75% off
- XCOM 2 - 67% off
- The Long Dark - 60% off
- Maia - 50% off - Early Access, but shows massive promise

Looking at that Valve collection makes me want another Half Life and another Left 4 Dead.

I picked up Salt & Sanctuary and Hollow Knight, among others. Really getting into metroidvania, about 15 years late.
S&S is the best game I've played on Linux. It might be the best game I've played, period. And I didn't care for Dark Souls.

I picked Valve Complete Pack for 17,99 almost 3 years ago.
I start to think that Steam Sales aren't worth my attention anymore...
P.S. There is no a single new game from Valve in pack from 2017.

I love metroidvanias, when I was a kid I played a lot Vampire Killer on the MSX, that was the precursor of Castlevania. I was thinking on which of both games play. Hollow Knight or Salt & Sanctuary, the second seemed different for the RPG mechanics...
But finally I bought Darkest dungeon and I'm enjoying it a lot. I think the clue is to be conservative, play without high risks and the all is more relaxed, easy to win, collect stuff, and arrive at town almost without stress (I'm in my first 10 hours). This way I find it more relaxing.
By the way, I have an Intel T430u laptop with Intel HD 4000 graphics and I'm tired on lots of games saying (like Darkest dungeon): "Intel Integrated not supported".... but it works perfect. Also it says 1080p minimum, and plays perfect at 1366x768. Right now I'm playing it with a monitor at bigger resolution, but I started with the laptop screen with no problem at all. Why they don't say: "Not tested with Intel integrated cards"... instead of "Not supported".

Not supported is not meaning it won't run on Intel Hd. It is simply saying : When you try to run it on Intel Hd and cannot achieve that ; don't expect any help or patch from us.

Wow Maia looked really cool - that's one passed under my radar. I don't buy EA by principle, but added to my wishlist!

-75% Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!. It is niche, but I've bought it, playing it now and quite enjoy it.
