Engage excitement number one! Feral Interactive are teasing a brand new Linux port on their little port teaser radar.

Here's the clue:
image
"WEST NORWOOD"

It's a new game, not something in their back catalogue of Mac titles, which is pretty exciting. Feral tend to pick reasonably big titles too.

Feral Interactive have ported many titles to Linux now including XCOM 2, Tomb Raider, Mad Max, Life is Strange, Dawn of War III and many more. It will be very interesting to see what it is, hopefully something I can sink hours into.

Begin guessing! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Hm. Is there a new command and conquer I dont know?
Dribbleondo Jun 26, 2017
West Norwood is a part of London, but apart from that, I have no clue.

West Norwood is a place in London, so I will say assassins creed, the one that happens in England.

It's 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' or 'NieR:Automata'.

Why? Because of Feral's Square Enix relationship and because a lot of ppl ask for both every chance they get.. ;-)

Maybe Dishonored, because Dunwall is inspired from London. But Bethesda is anti Linux...
razing32 Jun 26, 2017
Well that's a location in London.

Were there any recent games with that setting ?
Termy Jun 26, 2017
hard one - as it's in London, maybe Assasins Creed Syndicate? New stance towards Linux from Ubisoft? ^^

Possibly the number 68 bus if that is any help.
Tchey Jun 26, 2017
Or it could be a game from a londonian studio.
Or Bus Simulator
Or GTA 7
Or Stranded Island
Or Brexit Behavior

Isn't Croft manor close to London?

Rise of the Tomb Raider!

My guess is Rise of the Tomb Raider ... why?
Game manuals describe the character as the Wimbledon, London-born daughter of Lord Henshingly Croft and ...

#2 goes to "Norwood Garage" rather than "West Norwood".

#68 Appears to be the same photo in the Wikipedia article on the route:

Good catch!

It goes through Waterloo Station, so I thought Napoleon: Total War, but it's already on Mac, so no. I hope it's the new TR.

It is?!

Right, we're moving our office.

From the lyrics of song by The Smiths called "There is a light that never goes out":

"And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die"

Game in which you die a lot? ...Dark Souls III port confirmed!

"Nor" sounds like "Nord", Skyrim confirmed!

I have a more sound Skyrim theory. Above it was mentioned the picture would be from a bus on route 68 which seems to end at Russell Square. Looking at people named Russell in the voice acting industry I found Stephen Russell who voiced some dude in Skyrim. Bam, confirmed.

A -tiny- part of me still hopes for the LEGO games to get ported to Linux.

Lego City Undercover hasn't been ported to macOS yet and the photo is of a bus in a city. :p so just -maybe-
