Engage excitement number one! Feral Interactive are teasing a brand new Linux port on their little port teaser radar.
Here's the clue:
"WEST NORWOOD"
It's a new game, not something in their back catalogue of Mac titles, which is pretty exciting. Feral tend to pick reasonably big titles too.
Feral Interactive have ported many titles to Linux now including XCOM 2, Tomb Raider, Mad Max, Life is Strange, Dawn of War III and many more. It will be very interesting to see what it is, hopefully something I can sink hours into.
Begin guessing!

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I think i'd like to play none of the most quoted games so far (NieR, Tomb Raider...).

Soo here is my speculation down the rabbit hole.
The red buss shows us, we are looking for something in England. England - Frontier development,
you with me this far ? So my guess is.... Elite Dangerous!
And that statment is based on basicly nothing more then pure wish.
Well they are based in England, Cambridge to be exakt. So Im saying Elite Dangerous.
Feral! PORT ELITE! LIKE NOW! <3
And if you wont port Elite! I want tomb raider! :P

Commenting a little more on this Teaser Clue. I don't have any answers but I'll share some ideas.
The clue contains: "West Norwood - Bus 68"
I was thinking it might be related to Cockney Rhyming Slang, e.g. "Wood" in "Norwood" rhymes with Should, Could, Would, Good, Stood, Mud, Thud, Blood, Neighbourhood, Likelihood, Brotherhood, Knock on Wood, Hollywood, Understood, Ravenswood, Common Good, etc.
Then I looked at it this way: "West Nor Wood"
Noting that "NOR" is a logical operator, e.g. (0 NOR 0) = 1 ; (0 NOR 1) = 0 ; (1 NOR 1) = 0
So, I had a play with 6 NOR 8 (e.g. 68 bus)
Doing a bitwise NOR operation in Python on binary(6) versus binary(8) gets me an answer of integer(241)
241 is the number of possibly another bus in London.
I was also interested in the 68 bus route, here
While there, I checked out the 241 route, here
For a while I did get into my head that it might be London, sixties-based game " We Happy Few " but I couldn't match up that game in any way with Feral or West Norwood or Bus 68. Noting that "We Happy Few" is based in London, 1964.
This then makes me think about year "1968", hmmm, did anything interesting happen in "West Norwood" in 1968? (Maybe the birth of a game developer?)
I found that this athlete, George Hackenschmidt, termed "The Russian Lion" was buried in West Norwood cemetery in 1968: The Russian Lion in Norwood
(He was a great weight-lifter and wrestler.)
So, as you can see, I came up with lots of interesting little tidbits, but nothing substantial. Anyone able to make something coherent out of this?
EDIT: I've just had another look at the Feral Radar and spotted there is no "68" on the image, and it is just an earlier comment in this thread that one of the London buses going through West Norwood is number 68. The bus numbers are: 2, 68, 196, 315, 322, 432, 468, X68, N2, N68. This information rather spoils my earlier workings. Oh well :( Link here

Mean a new game, as for guessing far too lazy for that.
Keep up the good porting Feral.
Would like to think it will be a day one release for something new though would be pleasant.

Quoting: sevenOk feral, listen carefully, I will say this over and over again...... Port SPACEMARINE already, its long overdue!!!
I loved that game, it was so much fun. I played it right through to the end and would play it again to the end if it got ported to Linux (I dont have any Windows partition any more).
I think the clue might be Tomb Raider, and I'd be really pleased if it was.

If you want space marine suggest it to feral they are open to hearing what the community wants plus its a Sega/published title they have been Linux friendly with the total war series.

Quoting: sasannOnly if they spend their time creating better ports than making silly riddles ...
Pretty sure marketers aren't the ones porting the game.

So if both Feral and Slightly Mad Studios are located around the same bus route, knowing that the bus can swim, then could it be a way to cross-platforms?

Feral do not seem to link to steam workshop/multi player the way aspyr do which is a shame.
