It seems Civilization VI [Steam] is to continue expanding, with the new leader coming from Nubia. Take a look at the announcement video.

As Amanitore, a Kandake (queen) you will lead Nubia and here's what the developers had to say about her:
QuoteMany Kandake are described as warrior queens who led forces into battle, but references to Amanitore also point to an unprecedented time of growth through building. The sheer number of structures completed during her reign – the middle part of the first century – suggest this was a very prosperous time for the kingdom.

Amanitore was involved in restoring the large temple for Amun at Meroë and the Amun temple at Napata after it was destroyed by the Romans. Water retention reservoirs were erected at Meroë during her reign. Amun temples at Naqa and Amara were also built at this time.

You will gain access to the unique 'Pítati' unit, which are classed as master archers. It will replace the Ancient Era Archer for Nubia and upgrade into Crossbowman.

You will also gain the unique improvement 'Nubian Pyramid', which will provide Faith, as well as additional yields based on the adjacent District, or Food for the City Center.

Finally, it will also include a new scenario named 'The Gift of the Nile'. In this you will either control Egypt or Nubia and race to finish seven Temples dedicated to Amun to win.

How many of you are hooked on Civilization VI? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Hmm , If it is DLC I am tempted (provided it is not too overpriced)

Just too bad none of my Civ games are working recently :(

Yeah any details/ETA on cross platform multiplayer would be nice. The majority of my friends play on Windows and already had to decline 2 game rounds. :-/

More DLCs are ofc great though =)

Nubia, eh?

I wonder when they are going to include Canada for the first time ever in a Civ game, and what it would take for them to consider having the second largest country on Earth in there. I know, I know...we're America's hat and the unofficial 51st state. But still!

Maybe after the "Jamaica and Easter Island" DLC?

I hope that Aspyr will release the DLC as soon as the Windows version will pop up.
Otherwise, that civilization looks fun.

No offence but Canada is 150 years old and the game might just as well end at the year which Canada was founded. It's just a country made of people from around the world, just like the USA but at least they are the world's superpower. There are plenty ancient or old civilizations that are not included in the game and probably never will be so I wouldn't hold my breath for Canada.

Isn't Australia in the game ?
