Dust: An Elysian Tail released for Linux a few years ago and now GOG finally have the Linux version available too.
You could already get the DRM free version from Humble Store, but I know a lot of you love GOG and like to keep your game library in one place as much as possible.
The version from GOG thankfully includes a 64bit too, so no hunting down 32bit libs to install.
I still find it a little odd loading up a game and seeing a "Microsoft Studios" splash screen on Linux, a little amusing, but it's nice to know that Microsoft don't get in the way of ports for games they originally published. I tested out the GOG build and encountered no issues, truthfully I've never actually played Dust: An Elysian Tail before GOG themselves sent me a copy and wow, what a beautiful game!
The character design is amazing, I think Fidget might be the cutest character I've ever seen in a video game paired up with the great voice acting. The music is beautiful and I think I might be a little hooked. If you've also not checked it out before, be sure you do, like right now.

I bought this game as a present to my nephew when he was just a bit too young to actually enjoy it. I ended up basically playing it for him while he watched. A decent metroidvania-style platformer, well worth playing.

This is really a great game. I finished the Humble Indie Bundle version back when it was released and enjoyed it a ton!

Great game and works well in Linux. I have played this on anything from fairly high end dedicated cards down to integrated and all work fine. It's one of those games that's great to pick up when you have a few minutes to kill, or even an entire evening. Great to see GOG picking it up, however I don't see them making many sales. Steam has had it on sale for years and at a very low price at times. But more choice is always good.

I think what surprises me most about Dust is how annoying Fidget wasn't. By rights she should have been one of the most irritating characters in gaming, but instead she was genuinely funny much of the time, and was never too obtrusive. Plus genuinely helpful in combat, which was a nice plus.

Easily one of the best indie and most popular games, I've fully played through this game twice completing everything possible. The controls and combat are fluid and accurate, graphics and sound are top notch and the story is very good and the Linux version is nothing short of amazing stability wise

How many notes titled with GOG or itch.io you find?
Count them, and take your own objective conclusions.
Anyone who does not know Linux, could believe that GOG is more "Linux friendly" than itch.io... but is not.
Shouldn't we just be happy that they are games for Linux... instead of finding some way to be argumentative enjoy the fact there are games and its doesn't matter from what site.

So, just to get this straight... you'd rather that they didn't sell Linux games at all? You'd rather than there was one less store in the world selling Linux titles?
And if so, what does that accomplish? Or more directly, how does GOG being picky about the games they sell and the technologies they support actually hurt Linux?
Sure, I don't buy from them because Steam is more convenience, but it's awesome that they sell Linux games, in my opinion. I'd prefer that they supported every game, but I realise it's not possible. And I'd love it if they brought Galaxy out, but that's a business decision and it's great that they still sell Linux titles.
