THQ Nordic has announced Black Mirror [Official Site], a re-imagining of the acclaimed gothic-horror adventure series being developed by KING Art and it seems it will support Linux.

Looks really good. I'm eager for some gameplay footage now. If it turns out to be an actual (read somewhat traditional) adventure game and not just another cinematic choose-your-own-adventure, I'm sold.

Had to look up the original game. It was a point & click adventure. And KING Art does those really well. Plus, it's about time I got one of theirs early after release.

Black Mirror 1 was one of the best p&c adventures of it's time. Part 2 and 3 have been very good as well.
And King Art already proved that they know how to make a great p&c game. Their artstyle is awesome and they have always so much love for details. I just hope, they can improve their QA a little bit, especially when it comes to the Linux version.
I can't wait to play Black Mirror 4. :)

Looks good! Hopefully the release of this will mean they'll get to work on BoUT 3 as well :D.

I liked the first two of the old trilogy though the ending of the third one left me blue balled.
And one thing bugs me about their blurb
How is it a reboot if the story is not related in the slightest ??
That's like having a Mario reboot about a Goomba , or a Batman reboot about Commissioner Gordon. The heck ?

THQ Nordic are DRM-free friendly (they have a lot of games on GOG), so this is promising.
I never played the original series, but description reminds me of horror classic - Clive Barker's Undying.

I just bought the game and let me first say that I was really thrilled when I saw the trailer and gameplay trailer! ^_^
But I've been having some graphics issues. The FPS is very low...almost down to 5.
It seems strange...
My specifications is:
Intel Core i7 3.2 GHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce GTX960M 4GB RAM
Running Arch Linux with KDE Plasma 5.
Think I installed the prober gfx drivers since World of Warcraft and Amnesia: The Dark Descent runs smoothly.
Am I making some huge mistake here? :| :D
