That's right, the rather good Shadow Warrior is currently 100% free to grab and own on Steam until around 5PM UTC tomorrow.

About the game
QuoteShadow Warrior is a bold reimagining of the classic 3D Realms’ shooter from independent developer Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset) starring the legendary and quick-witted warrior Lo Wang. Combine the brute force of overwhelming firepower with the elegant precision of a katana to annihilate the merciless armies of the shadow realm in an exhilarating and visually stunning transformation of the classic first-person shooter.

The game arrived on Linux back in 2015 (has it really been that long?) with Humble Indie Bundle 14. It's an excellent port too, it's smooth and it looks damn good!

What the hell are you waiting for? Go to Steam and grab Shadow Warrior.

Still here? Okay, well, there's sadly no news on Shadow Warrior 2 coming to Linux. You can all stop emailing me asking me if I have any updates now ;) Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Well I just bought that two years ago, but - sadly - still no linux version :). The second part is worse though IMO.

It will never come to linux I suppose. They don't see us linux users as the type to buy their game. I bet it will come to MAC though.

no.. didn't miss it, already have for quite a while.. was really worth the money and a good linux port...
but what i do miss is the linux-version of shadow warrior 2 they announced themselves in pre-release phase.. good thing i didn't pre-order.

<-- See's "Shadow Warrior" in the title and thinks "Shadow Warrior 2," get's overly excited, finally comprehends the title, lets out a sad sigh and decides to tell the GoL community about it.

Where did you hear that, and why would they see Linux users that way? Their publisher (Devolver Digital) said in the past, that they support Linux release of the game.

Already bought the game twice. I'm good.

Idk I don't trust devs talking about bringing their games to linux and doing nothing. Be honest with people.

Can you try contacting Devolver Digital about it? Since they were more outspoken in the past, may be they can update on whether it's still even in the pipeline or not.
