Here's a pretty fun classic! GOG have released Alien Rampage from 1996 and it comes with a Linux version thanks to DOSBox.
Note: GOG themselves sent over a key, so I tested it out.

I tested it out and it does work fine. DOSBox is pretty amazing for what it's able to do for classic games! The game certainly is on the gory side too, with enemies guts exploding everywhere when they die. I imagine back in 1996 this was pretty gory, but compared to what we have now it seems almost tame.
