If you've been wanting either Dawn of War II or Dawn of War III here's your best chance, as they're both on sale on Humble Store.

Humble has these hot deals going:

Plus they have more like just the base Dawn of War II game and the expansions by themselves for those who wish to finish their collections.

Seriously good deals there, so if you're in need of some hot RTS action I can recommend checking them out. This is likely the cheapest you will find Dawn of War II for a while.

They're on sale for the weekend, so no rush! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Has someone played DoW III? I just received a 50% discount coupon on Steam and I was tempted to buy it but the reviews there are pretty bad.

Yeah, me too - 50% off. I already have the game, though....

It is not bad, it is a bit "different" again from the previous DoWs. I would say it is definitely worth a try, but I still believe the first one was the best one (with all the DLCs & additional campaigns and races) :)

I really like it. It's similar to warcraft 3

It's better now there's a different game mode for multiplayer that's for sure, I wasn't a big fan of the initial MOBA like mode.

I have one of those 50% off DOW3 coupons too. If someone wants it, ask me during Samsai's livestream tonight.

I finished the campaign, which takes between 16-18 hours for me on Normal level, comparable to Dawn of War II without DLCs.

I love Dawn of War III, most complaints on Steam are simply not justified, and comments go from plain disappointment statement to utter lying about the game features (and non-features). The game mechanics are polished, and the story is nice (but predictable).

However, the real problem with this game is the lack of content for the time being, but I'd bet an expansion is coming our way soon.

In its current state, it's not GOTY but it's pretty good.

I have that %50 discount of dow3 coupons too. New mp mode reminds me classic rts feel. I like it more than moba / capture&hold mode. Still im curious about cross-platform multiplayer availablety.

Unfortunately, it's only cross-platform between Mac & Linux...
