The single-player FPS Ravenfield [Steam, itch.io] has been updated with Steam Workshop support, so you can play on custom user-made maps.

Even though the new update only landed a few days ago, there's already 30 additional maps to check out in the Steam Workshop, which is pretty impressive.

To make maps, you need to use Unity, as the tools exist as a Unity Project inside the Unity Editor. You do then get the full power of Unity, but that's a lot of extra cruft for people to get into which could be a bit of a barrier.

See the full update notes here.

I will probably say this every time: without online multiplayer I just can't see myself playing much more of it. Playing against bots can only be fun for so long. Especially since the AI does whatever it pleases, there's no way to order them about. They do plan a single player campaign, but unless that's something amazing, I can't see myself enjoying it much. Still, it's impressive for one person. Maybe if they become popular enough they can hire someone to work on the online support. If it gained online support, it would shoot right to the top of one of my most played games with ease. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Developer mentioned that the MP will not be a thing for Ravenfield, which is a shame :(
