Suprised? No? Okay. After Feral Interactive [Official Site] directly asked to see a demand for F1 2017 and then the official F1 2017 twitter account had a little leak, F1 2017 for Linux has turned up on SteamDB.
Now this has popped up on SteamDB (it's a long one, but here's a glimpse):
600621/name: Linux - F1 2017 Binary
There's a lot more to indicate it, so it may very well end up coming to Linux. I bet there's going to be a number of happy faces in our comments if it does get officially announced.
The game has just released today with Windows/Mac support, with the Mac version done by Feral.
Will you buy a copy if it does come to Linux?
Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: LeopardLinux version was planned all from the beginning , they just add a little bit drama in it.
That would be my guess as well. I'm sure that they're still learning about how the taste of "Linux users" differs from that of their well known mac crowd, I'm sure they have a much better idea than whatever twitter can tell them.
Quoting: LeopardMacOS and Windows ver of F1 2017 is available while Linux version is only appeared on SteamDB.
That's not really relevant though. The Windows and Mac version appeared at the same time. Before public release, SteamDB can't reach all that information.

No, i'm saying that West Norwood radar activity was showing that there was an upcoming game to MacOS and Linux but earlier to MacOS.
So delay of the F1 2017 is exactly like radar showed.

In that case, how would you link "West Norwood" to F1? Just out of curiosity.

F1 doesnt use goodyear, but pirelli, so yeah no logic in this :D
goodyear, michelin and bridgestone were used quite some time ago though and this game features some historic cars, so maybe theres some link :D

I can't link anything at all to F1-West Norwood.
Just their timing fits with F1.

Not a big F1 guy but with Feral I'll try to pick it up at half off at some point. They have got zero compensation from me for so many games I do want such as Mad Max because I already owned it from my Windows days that they earned at least that much from me.

I might quite possibly get it. Maybe I should get a wheel first though...? Dirt Rally is difficult with just a keyboard.

Their accuracy, range and more natural feedback will definitely give you an edge.
