Well then, this is interesting. Not long after Feral Interactive asked to see interest for a Linux version of F1 2017 [Steam], the official Twitter account just let something slip.

Here's the Tweet:

We are aware that there's a delay with the Mac and Linux versions. We are looking into it.

— Formula 1® Game (@Formula1game) August 22, 2017

In case it vanishes, it says this:

QuoteWe are aware that there's a delay with the Mac and Linux versions. We are looking into it.

No one has officially confirmed it's actually on the way to Linux, so I find that amusing.

Also, a Feral staff member went onto reddit today with a question of "Favourite car in a game?" and in this post, they said "... andnothisisdefinitelynotateaserofanykind.".

Well well, what do we all think?

Thanks to Knucks in our Discord for finding it!

Note the emphasis on "subtly".
Yes, please be polite and let the Mac gamers enjoy their stream. Feral won't be pleased if you hijack the chat.

How about Grid Autosport? Is that any good?

I'm really enjoying it. Looks good and drives well. My only real criticism is that the AI is a little ram happy in open wheeled cars. Works well for touring cars but it's a little annoying to pull off a nice pass and then have the passed bot ram into you and damage your open wheeler.

Overall though, definitely worth playing.

I secretly wished they were teasing GTA V, heh... I would even love to have the pc version ports of 3, vc, sa and 4 first. I just want to follow the damned train with my steam controller.

Just in case anybody wants to draw conclusions. F1 2017 has Linux depots (encrypted) and a configuration.

Not a sure sign, but what percentage of games get Linux depots and never end up seeing a release? I know it's more than zero, but can anyone actually do the math?

You should have asked differently: what percentage of Feral games have Linux depots and no Linux release.
