Klei have sure been busy, as they've announced a new single-player DLC named Don’t Starve: Hamlet, along with updates to Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked & Don’t Starve Together.
First up, is the new DLC Don’t Starve: Hamlet. This new DLC may not see Linux support right away, but it will eventually come as they said to me on Twitter. Check out the trailer:

There's no set date for it, other than "Q1/Q2 2018". They do have a Steam page up for it if you want to wishlist it. Okay, but what is it? Here's the info:
In Don’t Starve: Hamlet, Wilson discovers a lost town of aristocratic Pigmen nestled within a foreboding tropical jungle. Reacquaint to city life with pig shops, houses, new items, biomes and more, or delve into the ancient pig ruins and try your hand at treasure hunting in this new single player expansion.
Also, they announced a free content update for Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked. It's available in a Beta with a password of "shipwreckedbeta". I don't own that DLC to test, so I can't report if the update is on Linux right now.
The Shipwrecked content update adds in new craftables like a Galley and Sea Lab, a Sea Yard, Oil Lamp and much more new stuff. They've also adjusted the world generation to include new animals, new food items, new resources and so on.
Last, but by no means least, is Don’t Starve Together: The Forge. These will be a series of events for Don’t Starve Together. They will be limited-time play modes to give you new ways of playing with the cast of Don't Starve. Free for everyone and they will be available from November.
See their full announcement post on all three here.
Can't say I ever beat it though.
